The app is designed to work seamlessly with the native Shopify Markets feature to ensure that only the products you want featured are available based on where the customer is located.
This ensures that your customers have a more localised experience and are only able to shop for products available in their region. For example, you can create a market called "International" that targets Canada and Mexico. If you have a different market that you want to apply only to Japan, then you can create another market that targets only the country of Japan.
A typical use case might be that you want to hide sale products for the "International" market. Simply go into the product in the Shopify catalogue and exclude the product from that market. As a result, the product will only be visible in the "Japan" market.
In Shopify, make sure to first setup up your Markets. A market can contain a single country or region, or a group of countries or regions. More info here.
In Shopify, unpublish or publish a product from a specific market.
In the app, go to Settings > Manage > Product > Markets
Markets must specify a “primary country” as this isn’t automatically setup during syncing. Using the dropdown, make sure to link a market to country.
In the app, initiate a sync. It is important to perform sync whenever modifications are made to a product for Shopify Markets. Syncs ensures that all products and their inclusion in a respective market are accurately reflected in the app and ultimately, on the front-end.
